Our focus is your house
You may not think twice about the inner workings of your house, but there is so much going on behind the walls and above the ceiling to consider. We will assess your home in great detail to determine that all of the details are in order. Our visual inspections can uncover common issues that an untrained eye would miss. We look for clues and probe further if there is a need to, such as checking moisture content in building materials, and using thermal imaging to highlight heat transfer.

Basement health and safety
Your basement is a valuable part of your house, offering a space that is often finished to allow for extra bedrooms or a family room. Since a basement is generally mostly below the finished grade, issues such as water seepage, insufficient and improper insulation can lead to mold and mildew formation, posing a health hazard. Another less talked about problem is radon gas, which is the #1 cause of lung cancer in non smokers! We do offer testing for radon gas to our customers using a monitor that is placed in your basement for a two week study.
What are the concerns with basement living spaces?
- Inadequate or improper insulation.
- High moisture levels and poor ventilation.
- Radon gas.
